Static Sensitive Device Handling Procedures

Handle the interface card by its sides without touching the DIN connector.
Transport and store the interface card in the anti-static bag it was shipped in; do not stack the interface cards.
If possible, work in a static free environment with a conductive work surface; avoid working in a carpeted area.
Keep your work surface clean, and free of ordinary plastic products. To clean the surface, use staticide or another anti-static cleaner.
Wear a grounded wrist strap if one is available; the strap must be in contact with your skin and plugged into a grounding post.
If possible, wear cotton clothing.
