This chapter describes the commands available for configuring a DDS CSU/DSU module in your router. It includes the following topics:
DDS CSU/DSU Features
Displaying the DDS Prompts
DDS Commands
DDS CSU/DSU Features
The following is a list of physical device features the DDS (Digital Data System) module supports.
Integrated Channel Service Unit (CSU) and Data Service Unit (DSU).
56 Kbps DDS (DDS-PRI, 56 Kbps loop speed)
64 Kbps Clear Channel DDS (CC-64K, 72 Kbps loop speed)
High-level Data Link Control (HDLC) framing
Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP)
Frame Relay LAN Emulation (FRLANE), and Frame Relay Virtual Circuit (FRVC) data-link layers
CSU loopback for 56K DDS and 64K Clear Channel DDS
DSU loopback for 56K DDS
Secondary DDS channel
Synchronous Data Link Control (SDLC) framing
Switched 56K operation
V.54 loopback or latching loopback operation
