Using the Analog Voice Commands


This document describes the command line interface commands for the analog voice module. It has the following sections.

To display the Voice Config> prompt, enter voice at the Config> prompt.

Table 1 describes the Voice commands.

Press Space twice after you type a command to display the available parameters for each command. Enter help for information about using the command line interface.

[C] means the command is available at the VOICE Config> prompt.

Command Function
Config [C] Do not use this command. It is for Nx Networks technical support engineers to use in special circumstances.

Exit [C] Returns you to the previous prompt.
List [C] Displays the settings of the voice parameters that you set at the Voice Config> prompt.
Reset [C] Resets the analog voice module.
Set Address [C] Sets the IP address of the analog voice module.

Config [C]

Do not use this command. It is for Nx Networks technical support engineers to use in special circumstances.

Exit [C]

Returns to the previous prompt.

Syntax: exit

Example: exit

List [C]

Displays the IP address of the analog voice module.

Syntax: list

Example: list

VoIP board configuration: IP address = 10.3.7.76

Reset [C]

Resets the analog voice module. This command causes a hardware reset and a reboot of the module software. This process takes about 45 seconds.

Syntax: reset

Example: reset

Set Address [C]

Sets the IP address of the analog voice module. You must use an address that is unique on all attached networks.

Syntax: set address =

ipaddress
Example: set address =10.3.7.76
