Long Syntax:
NLSP.053 tooManyAdjacencies: actual maximum packet size= actual_packet_size , IPX circuit ID īzlīzkčīzlhīzkøīzl(īzlXīzlīzlHīzl8
Description:
During the building of a LAN Hello, there were too many neighbors to fit them into a single LAN Hello packet. The packet size of a LAN Hello packet is limited to the actual maximum packet size on the circuit, which is shown in the message. The packet is still built and sent with as many neighbors as can fit. The actual maxmimum packet size is the smaller of the packet sizes supported by all the neighbors, but it must still be at least a minimum of 576 bytes.
Cause:
There too NLSP neighbors on this LAN to fit within the actual maximum packet size of a LAN Hello packet.
Action:
Reconfigure the network to reduce the number of NLSP neighbors.
Action:
Check if the configuration of one of the routers needs adjusting to increase its maximum packet size supported.

NLSP.065

Level:
UI-ERROR
Short Syntax:
NLSP.065 Seq num wrap on LSP= LSP ID
Long Syntax:
NLSP.065 Sequence number wrapped on LSP= LSP ID
Description:
The sequence number has wrapped, or overflowed, on the Link State Packet for the given LSP ID. This should be an extremely rare occurrence. This LSP ID will be kept out of service and not regenerated for the maximum LSP age out period, which defaults to aproximately 2 hours.
Cause:
Unknown. The sequence number is a 4 byte unsigned number and should not be overflowing except in extrememly old, large NLSP networks. This is more likely due to router memory corruption or a software bug.
Action:
None, recovery should be automatic after the maximum LSP age out period.
Action:
If the router is to be restarted as part of the recovery action, the router should not be restarted for the LSP age out period.
Action:
As an emergency workaround, the router could be immediately restarted if the NLSP System ID is changed to another value on the problem router. By changing the NLSP System ID for the router, this changes all the LSP IDs generated by the router.

The checksum for the LSP was relcalculated to be something different than the current value in memory. The routing database is automatically purged and reacquired, to recover from the situation.
Cause:
Possible software or hardware bug causing the memory corruption.
Action:
None, unless it occurs on a frequent basis. Recovery should be automatic.
