Description:
The router discarded a packet because of a queue overflow.

Description:
This message is generated when a packet arrives for an unknown or unsupported socket. The message was addressed to the router.

Description:
This message is generated when a packet arrives for an unknown or unsupported socket. The message was a broadcast.

Description:
This message is generated when a packet's indicated checksum does not match its calculated checksum.

DDS.005

Description:
This message is generated when a RIP packet with an unknown operation code is received.
Cause:
The remote host specified in the message sent a RIP packet with an invalid operation code.
Action:
Check the remote host for errors.

Description:
This message is generated when a Name Server broadcast is received. The router ignores these as it has no use for them.

If the problem persists, monitor the line for trouble.

This message is generated whenever a RIP entry cannot be added to the routing table because it is full.

DDS.014

Description:
This message is generated when a RIP request contains a bad network number.
Cause:
The indicated source of the request asked for routing information for an invalid or for an unknown network.
Action:
Correct the routing table of the node in error.

This message is generated whenever a new network is added to the routing table.

Description:
The router received ring information request packets at the page or file sockets. The target network is not an Apollo Token Ring.
Cause:
Programming error at remote node.

DDS.028

Description:
This message is generated for all packets received at the page or file sockets with an unsupported request type. A reply will be sent with the status code 00110022, "Foreign node does not support all network features".
Cause:
Node made file service or pagin request which was not one of our supported maintenance commands.

Description:
This message indicates that a packet was received destined for the discard socket. It will be discarded.

DDS.030

Description:
An asknode ask_who request is being propogated downstream on the specified ATR interface. The stop count is the limit on how far it will propogate.
Cause:
Normal repsonse to receiving an ask_who request, after sending a who_r reply.

Description:
A ask_who packet being propogated was not successfully transmitted for the reason indicated by the error code.

Description:

This message is generated when Asknode sends a reply to another node. The status is a Domain/OS error code.

DDS.035

Long Syntax:
DDS.035 ask_rem_who not propogated status status , die count die_count , first flag , start node node
Description:
An ask_rem_who packet was not propogated. This happens if the status code on the response will be an error, if the die count expires, or if we are the start node and are not the first to propogate it.
